My name is Sean Byron, and I am a Guelph Ontario based freelance website designer and developer. I have been working with websites since I was in elementary school, and have been running my own website design and hosting business for over six years. I am currently completing a degree in Software Engineering at Carleton University, and design websites part time.
I pride myself on being accessible, and am always available to help or to ask questions of. I am easy to work with, easy to communicate with, and customer satisfaction is my top priority. Just ask any of my satisfied clients from across Canada. I am a one man show and personally handle all the design, coding, customer service, and technical support duties.
You can find some examples of my work below. I am available for freelance work, and would be very excited to work with you. You can reach by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks for visiting, and have a great day!
Canadian Engineering Competition
I am currently involved in organizing the 2013 Canadian Engineering Competition as Vice President Communications for the event. As part of the Communications portfolio, I designed and developed a website for the competition, with input from others organizing commitee.
Carleton Student Engineering Society
I currently volunteer my time as webmaster of the Carleton Student Engineering Society website. This semester I did a complete overhaul of the website, moving all of the static content from the old website onto a new content management system. This allows the executive to log into the website, and modify content without touching any underlying code.
I worked closely with the team at Volunteer Alberta to completely redesign and reinvent their website. The website was reorganized to make information more accessible, and a search function was integrated to make content easier to find. The organization’s Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube pages we’re also integrated, as well as a News Feed, bringing the latest content from across the website onto the homepage. A Volunteer Centre Directory complete with map, as well as an event calendar, newsletter, and blog we’re also integrated into the new website.
“Sean has a rare combination of computer expertise and language literacy. Great client service, including capacity for needs assessment, positioning the project to be successful. Thanks a lot! ”
Volunteer Wood Buffalo
I worked with the team at Volunteer Wood Buffalo to design a website to fit their needs. The website was built using a content management system, allowing volunteers to log into the website and perform updates. The website features a calendar system, image gallery, and intergrates the organizations Twitter and Facebook.
“We consulted with Sean on how we wanted the site to look and the components that we required. Sean did a fantastic job of design, development and implementation and has continued to provide support and be responsive to any requests that we have, to change or add to the website. I would not hesitate to recommend Sean.”

Orchard Home Farm
I designed and host this website for a local Apple Orchard. I also perform weekly updates, keeping customers informed about what’s currently being picked at the Orchard.
